Taking Ownership

 One time on our evening walk after dinner we let Dax walk Sammy. This was one of the happiest times I have ever seen Dax. You could see in his face how proud of himself he was to be in charge of Sam. He has seen and heard our commands that we give Sam as we walk, so naturally Dax felt he needed to do the same by firmly yelling "GO" and "SIT". The best thing was that Sam understood and with Dax holding the leash he must stay close and walk slower. This is now a must every time we go for a stroll.
