We woke Dax up the morning of his party
| Here we have a very confused sleepy birthday boy |
| Of course all he wanted after he got out of his crib was to start off with the books. |
| His birthday breakfast waffle and apparently a yummy candle |
| I enjoyed planning and making decorations for the party |
| A new tradition in our family. "The Birthday Banner" (big thanks to Mary for all your help with it) |
| The "Monster" fruit bowl! Idea by my dad made by my mom. It turned out so cute. |
| Lots of food! Sloppy joes, hot dogs, chips, fruit, veggies, and homemade root beer. |
| ..and of course CUPCAKES! |
| The cake, pre-demolished |
| Dax was so lucky to receive so many fun gifts. |
| Lots of candy! |
| Googly eyed monster cups |
| I had a lot of fun making these picture frames. |
| The thank yous were these monsters holding suckers for all the wonderful family and friends that helped us celebrate. |
| The craft table had monster masks to make and boy did the kiddos all get creative. Here is Dax's cousin Gracie Jo. |
| Jacksen sporting his mask. |
| Some of Dax's cousins- Jacksen, Dylan and Gracie making their masks. |
| Here is Dax playing patty-cake in his monster outfit. "Throw it oven for Daxton and Me!" |
| Swinging away with cousins and friends. |
| One of his presents was this off road Razor (McKay wants a real 4 seater one someday so this will due for now) from Nana and Papa. |
| Dax's Aunt Maren, Uncle Brandon and cousins Fisher and Sage came all the way from Las Vegas for the bash. |
| Chowing down with my cousins Sadey and Nick. (He was born the day of their wedding) Thanks for sharing your special day guys :) |
| Sadey helped Dax scarf down the sloppy joe meat. |
| Just a dad giving his son some great advice :) |
| Go Go, McKay and Aunt Kathryn |
| Caught in the act! Dylan loves Jelly Bellys. |
| This monster pinata had a lot of little kids out to get him! Spoiler alert, he got destroyed :) |
| Dax saying his goodbyes |
| Dylan was one of the youngest but honestly had the fastest swing. |
| McKay in charge of the pinata |
| Jacksen |
| Maggie Jane took a good chunk out of it. |
| ....and cousin River ended it all! |
| Dax is so sweet trying to help the poor injured monster. |
| It's hopeless buddy, hes gone :) |
| Present time! He got lots of books, fun toys, cute clothes, shoes and a red wagon from Go Go. |
| Funny but true this singing card was probably his favorite because of the combination of being able to open like a book and it played music to dance to. |
| Open and close....open and close. |
| One of the best parts of the day was a singing group of 18 men came over sang Happy Birthday to Dax. It was so AWESOME. |
| Enjoying the great harmony |
| Cake Time! |
| Lemon cake. His favorite. |
| Dads favorite too. If it were up to me it would of been chocolate. |
| He is a wonderful sharer with Papa. |
| Getting all cleaned up in the cold cold water. He was not happy about that at all. |
| This was all for you buddy! Lots of people love ya especially Mom and Dad |
